Dr. Alicia Cole, ND
Dr. Alicia Cole believes that the fundamentals of healthy living are within reach for every person. The naturopathic model of whole-person wellness is at the core of Dr. Cole’s approach to medicine. She believes that by creating sustainable, realistic goals with her patients they can achieve improved health and well-being.
Dr. Cole completed her undergraduate studies at Vassar College where she earned degrees in Biology and Anthropology. She was a four-year division III athlete during her time at Vassar. She also focused on completing her pre-medical curricula with a focus on health of the community as it relates to health of the environment.
After graduating she planned on earning her master’s in Environmental Studies and continued coursework at University of New Hampshire and University of California at Irvine. During this time she was first introduced to naturopathic medicine and she changed her career path. Dr. Cole believes that naturopathic medicine is also medicine for a healthier planet.
Dr. Cole received her doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University and is a licensed primary care physician in the state of Washington. While attending Bastyr her elective studies focused on counseling and advanced studies in urology and gynecology. Dr. Cole’s clinical education included specialty shifts focused on women’s health, geriatrics, oncology and IV therapy.
Dr. Cole is a primary care doctor whose special interests include sports medicine, women’s health, endocrinology and chronic disease. She has been a competitive rower, triathlete and coach for the past 16 years and this athletic background allows for a unique perspective on helping athletes of any level stay injury free while meeting their personal fitness goals.
Dr. Cole is committed to creating a healing partnership with her patients that incorporates the fundamentals of naturopathic philosophy and therapeutics along with the science of allopathic medicine.
